1. Fee Policy

Host Fee Policy — Lease Rental & Pay-out to the Host

The Host Strike Policy explains any changes in scheduled vehicle bookings after listing on the Bharat Self Drive Car Platform. Kindly refer to the official link for complete details.

Note:
Bharat Car deducts payments owed by Hosts under this Fee Policy or other applicable policies directly from the Pay-Outs.

If Pay-Outs do not cover the total amount, the Host must transfer the remaining balance electronically within 24 hours of the booking end time or Listing Period (as applicable). Payment must follow Bharat Car’s instructions.

All charges listed here include GST wherever applicable.

Terms and Conditions for Host & Guest

Welcome to Bharat Car Host Services (“Bharat Car Host Services”) available at www.BharatCar.com (the “Site”) and the mobile application (the “App”).

The Site and App (together referred to as the “Platform”) are owned and operated by Bharat Car India Private Limited. The company is incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956, with its registered office at 005 G/F, Kothari Pole, Mamu Nayak Ni Pole, Gandhi Road (Ahmedabad), Ahmedabad City, Gujarat – 380001, India. Bharat Car may also be referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our.”

Access and use of the Platform and its services are governed by the General Terms, Privacy Policy, Fee Policy, and other service-specific terms.

Legal Agreement and Governing Policies

These Terms of Service include conditions applicable to Hosts, Guests, and Add-on Services. Together with the Privacy Policy, Fee Policy, and other governing policies (“Governing Policies”), they form the legally binding agreement (“Agreement” or “Host T&C”) for Bharat Car Host Services.

Read each policy carefully before using or registering on the Platform. They outline your rights and responsibilities.

If you disagree with any term, please avoid using the Platform or its services.

Agreement Acceptance and Updates

These Governing Policies take effect when you click “I Agree” or when you start using Bharat Car Host Services (“Effective Date”).

To serve users better, Bharat Car regularly updates and improves the Platform. Parts of the service may change or be discontinued without prior notice.

3. Privacy Practices

4. Amendments and Modifications

Bharat Car may revise the Agreement from time to time. When updates occur, the new version will appear on the website with an updated date. Users may also receive notice through other communication methods.

Any modification to the Agreement becomes effective immediately upon upload to the Platform.

User Responsibility Regarding Changes

Users must review the Agreement periodically to stay informed about updates.

Continuing to use Bharat Car Host Services after modifications means you accept the revised terms.

If you do not agree with any update, you must stop using Bharat Car Host Services.

5. Bharat Car Host Services

Bharat Car Host Services is a marketplace within the Platform that connects vehicle owners (“Hosts” or “Lessors”) with users who need vehicles temporarily (“Guests”). These vehicles are offered for personal use under a lease arrangement (“Bharat Car Host Services”).

Bharat Car itself does not lease or manage vehicles. It only connects Hosts and Guests so they can enter into a direct Lease Agreement. Bharat Car is not a transportation provider, agent, or insurer.

Purpose of Bharat Car Host Services

Bharat Car aims to build a trustworthy marketplace for Hosts and Guests. While the service supports transactions, Bharat Car does not control the conduct of users and assumes no responsibility for their actions.

The company cannot guarantee the quality or safety of vehicles or the accuracy of listings. It also cannot ensure that transactions or payments between Hosts and Guests will always be completed successfully.

The Platform functions solely as a secure connection and support system for these interactions.
